An easy way to add extra panache to run-of-the-mill martinis, PAMA has a distinctive ruby-red color, an equally distinctive tall, stylish bottle, and calls itself "the world's first true pomegranate liqueur" and blends all-natural 100% Californian pomegranate juice, premium vodka and a splash of tequila to create a complex but versatile liqueur that's simultaneously sweet and tart.

The Health Benefits of Pomegranates

Native to Iran and northern India, pomegranates have long been considered a superfood by health-food experts and natural-food advocates. According to pomegranate lovers, eating pomegranates and drinking pomegranate juice has a host of health benefits, including preventing multiple types of cancer and protecting the heart and arteries. Not only are these apple-sized, seed-filled fruits loaded with cancer-fighting antioxidants and nutrients (like vitamin A, vitamin C and dietary iron), they're delicious and exotic too. And, although there's no proof that the health benefits of pomegranates are transferred to pomegranate liqueur, it's still nice to think so while enjoying a nice, cool pomegranate martini!
